This full-length came out in August of 2010 and I didn’t really write anything about it… and yet, it’s become a playlist staple in early 2011. Current/former members of THIS IS HELL and THE BACK-UP PLAN form the core of ICE AGE and the style is basically a gruffer, simpler take on THIS IS HELL. Less solos, more mosh, a little bit of SICK OF IT ALL street/oi influence, and plenty of vocal rasp. The formula is fairly average, but the short, sharp songwriting has this 25 minute release hitting with a hard exclamation point.
