Winners have been chosen for the Earth Crisis super fan contest!

If we’ve learned one thing from this contest, it’s that in 2011, Earth Crisis still has some of the most loyal (and maybe a little bit crazy) fans that a band could ever hope for. We had a blast sorting through the entries, but unfortunately we could only pick 3 winners...

Runner Up #2:
Marty T. from Wilmington, NC

In the photo evidence submitted, Marty is clearly inspiring a future generation of Earth Crisis fans, therefore we thought he (and the wee one) were worthy of the runner up prize. Marty has been vegan straightedge for 17 years, and even his family has followed suit, including his wife Dawn, son Carson, and even 3 month old Zoe (pictured below).

 

Runner Up #1:
Chris Z. from Michigan City, IN

Chris not only has an impressive collection of Earth Crisis vinyl (boasting several super-rare test pressings), but he’s also the proud owner of the original photography used throughout Gomorrah’s Season Ends. Check out the evidence below:


 

Grand Prize:
Chip W. from Miami, FL

Chip was an easy choice for the grand prize, seeing how he has a collection of over 100 Earth Crisis shirts. He’s been collecting for over a decade and has various gems including an original Forgiveness Denied tee (limited to 12) and more than one of the first ever Earth Crisis tees in existence (nearly 20 years old). Chip has been an avid Earth Crisis fan ever since hearing Firestorm back in ’95.”I am proud to say that after 17 years, I still love the band as much as I did the first time I heard them.”
